The beautiful state of Arizona awaits you. To the north of the state, you have the Grand Canyon and pine forests of the Mogollon Rim and to the south you have the hot dry deserts and mountains where monsoon storms roll across every summer. You have towns, such as Old Tucson, where famous westerns have been filmed over many years. The preserved historic town of Tombstone resides in the southern part of the state, where famed US Marshall Wyatt Earp stared down the infamous Cowboys gang at the gunfight at the O.K. Corral. The Saguaro Cactus National park is also a fascinating drive.
The base hotel, that we will be returning to every night, is the beautiful DoubleTree Hotel in Paradise Valley, Scottsdale. Its a fantastic hotel that i have been staying at for the past 6 years. It has many amenities, including a gym, spa, hot tubs, steam rooms, a great restaurant, and convenience store. The hotel is literally a five minute ride from Old Town Scottsdale, where there are many great restaurants, bars, and the Scottsdale Fashion Mall if you have the urge to explore the great range of stores.
